Indorama Eleme Petrochemical Limited (IEPL) is a Poly-Olefins producer in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. It was formerly a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) called Eleme Petrochemicals Company Limited (EPCL). Under the Privatization Program, Indorama Corporation became the core investor and acquired the company in August 2006. Since then, IEPL has achieved smooth operations, increased production capacities, and received global recognition through awards and certifications. IEPL serves as a successful model for Nigeria’s Privatization Program.

1. Job Title: Graduate Engineer Internship Program
- Eligibility: First Degree / HND Engineers from recognized Universities and Polytechnics.
- Disciplines: Chemistry / Mechanics / Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics / IT / Civil / Oil and Petrochemicals / Production.
- Year of Graduation – 2020, 2021 and 2022 preferred.
- Duration of the internship: 12 months
Qualification/Requirement
- All qualified candidates will undergo a two-stage selection process: written test (technical and aptitude) and oral interview.
- Candidates who have successfully completed both stages will be eligible for an internship.
- Interns will receive a consolidated monthly stipend during the internship period.
- Trainees have the right to use the company’s means of transport to travel between the place of residence and the factory.
- Interns receive a daily meal, which is paid in advance at the beginning of each month.
- Admission to regular positions in the company will be based on successful completion of the internship program and the vacant position within the organization.
2. Job Title: Diploma Engineer Internship Program
- Eligibility: National diploma/equivalent from recognized polytechnic and technical educational institutions
- Disciplines: Chemistry / Mechanics / Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics / Civil / Oil and petrochemicals / Production
- Year of Graduation: 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 will be preferred.
- Duration of the internship: 18 months
