    Applications are open for a wide range of organizations, including:

    • Startups and SMEs looking to scale.

    • Funding Opportunities: Grants and on-lending financing.
    • Eligibility: Nigerian-developed solutions with ESG and SDG alignment.

    Who Can Apply?

    The challenge is open to innovators across three main categories:

    1. Cleantech Innovators

    • Age Requirement: 20-45 years.
    • Grant: Up to ₦2 million for prototyping or demonstration phase solutions.
    • Financing: On-lending options up to ₦1 billion.
    • Focus Areas:
      • Battery recycling.
      • Electric vehicle (EV) digital technology.
      • Conversion of internal combustion engine (ICE) tricycles to EV.
      Additional Requirements:
      • The innovation must be in the prototype phase.
      • Clear scaling plan and viable prototypes are required.
      • Successful applicants will receive grant or financing only for the approved projects.

    2. Agriculture-Based Startups

    • Age Requirement: 18-35 years.
    • Financing: Single-digit financing up to ₦20 million.
    • Focus: Technology-driven, climate-smart agricultural solutions addressing productivity and profitability across the value chain, with a focus on climate resilience and post-harvest loss prevention.
    • Additional Requirements:
      • Solutions should leverage alternative energy sources.
      • Must align with value-chain-based approaches such as production, processing, and distribution of crops or livestock.

    3. Women-Led Social Enterprises

    • Age Requirement: 18-45 years.
    • Grant: Up to ₦2 million.
    • Focus Areas: Renewable energy, climate education, agriculture, and climate action.
    • Additional Requirements:
      • Must align with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.
      • Only women-led enterprises are eligible.

    General Eligibility Criteria

    Applicants must meet specific requirements to qualify for the challenge:

    1. Businesses must have operated for at least two years.
    2. Solutions must be locally developed by Nigerians for Nigeria.
    3. Innovations should align with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ESG principles.
    4. A business plan and pitch deck (or proposal for social enterprises) are required.
    5. Only one application per business or social enterprise will be accepted.

    Job Summary:

    Provide support for treasury unit in the aspect of tax compliance, preparation, research tasks and proper documentation. This role offers opportunities for growth and development within the company.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns for various tax obligations, including corporate income tax, withholding taxes, VAT transaction taxes, and other applicable taxes.
    • Review financial statements and records to ensure accuracy and completeness in tax filings.
    • Monitor and stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.
    • Maintain and organize tax records and documentation, ensuring they are up-to-date and readily accessible.
    • Prepare and assist in the preparation of tax-related reports and schedules for internal and external use.
    • Assist in tax audits and provide necessary documentation and support to auditors.
    • Perform preliminary analysis of tax implications for various business transactions and provide recommendations.
    • Support the Treasury team with data collection and analysis for tax planning and strategy purposes.
    • Coordinate with internal departments to gather required information and documentation for tax purposes.
    • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and scheduling.
    • Maintain and update tax databases and records.
    • Support the Accounts unit with the booking of entries on the Bank’s Core Banking system (myMBS) Accounting Module daily
    • Responsible for executing additional ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Treasurer or Chief Accountant.

    Key Competencies:

    • B.Sc. or Higher National Diploma in Accounting
    • Minimum of two years’ work experience in tax field would be an added advantage
    • Basic knowledge of generally acceptable accounting concepts and principles
    • Good understanding of the concept of Debit and Credit
    • Basic knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel & Word)

    • As a POS Repair Technician, you will work as a member of a technical support team and will report to the Support Manager. You will be required to assemble and configure POS hardware. You will provide both on and off-site support, telephone support, and remote access support for hardware and software for our Agents. You must be able to manage and perform assigned tasks effectively, work together with others as a cohesive team, communicate and act professionally within workplace and with clients, and maintain a good knowledge of existing and future software and hardware products.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • POS installation, maintenance, Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair of hardware.
    • Document, prioritize and follow up on all support tickets.
    • Propose and evaluate technical solutions and alternatives.
    • Working knowledge of Regular, Android and Sunmi POS devices is an added advantage.
    • Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.
    • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
    • Supports and maintains merchants POS systems and terminals
    • Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, hardware repairs of POS systems, backup and other maintenance tasks.
    • Maintain technical knowledge related to our suite of hardware and software product lines and industry.
    • Setup, configure, and test hardware.
    • Install software and hardware at client sites, run and connect all cables between and at hardware devices
    • Provide telephone, remote, and on-site support for clients in order to provide quick resolution to problems
    • Provide training to clients regarding hardware, and troubleshooting techniques

    Required Skills/Experience:

    • Some Evening and Weekend schedules will be required
    • ND/HND/BSc in related fields  
    • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as POS repair technician
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deliver within deadline
    • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience in configuration, installation, training and support of hardware or software products
    • Expertise in Microsoft Office and Operating Systems

    JOB PURPOSE

    • As a POS Inspection officer, you would be responsible for carrying out different kinds of PALMPAY agent support, leveraging on your experience and our standard operating procedures to help in identifying, preventing, and resolving agent support issues.
    • You would also be responsible for visiting agents to resolve their issues in their location. They could have issues related to their POS, a transaction issue (chargeback or disputes), or customer service inquiries. You have to understand transaction processing and the agent banking business to proffer solutions.
    • You will work towards reactivating inactive agents and improving the performance of suboptimal performing agents.
    • You are expected to work with the highest integrity as any falsified information provided during verification would be considered fraud and the relevant legal processes would be initiated.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Conduct physical visits to inactive and underperforming agents to address and resolve their issues.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve POS device problems, transaction disputes, and general service inquiries at the agents’ locations.
    • Prepare and submit detailed daily reports on activities, including issues identified and resolutions provided.
    • Work to reactivate dormant agents and enhance the performance of agents with suboptimal activity.
    • Perform all other functions as may be assigned by a supervisor.

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of an OND in any business-related discipline
    • Experience in POS terminal repair is an added advantage.
    • Relevant experience in a Fintech
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
    • In-depth geographical knowledge of the local environment

    • Base salary of 75,000 naira per month
    • Transport allowance of 25,000 naira per month

    About the role

    • As a Customer Success Agent, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service to our customers.
    • You will be responsible for communicating with customers through various channels, such as phone, email, and chat, and resolving customer issues in a timely and efficient manner.

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver prompt and effective customer service through various communication channels using our support tool [Zoho].
    • Listen actively to customers and ask relevant follow-up questions to understand their needs.
    • Resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner.
    • Provide helpful solutions to customers to exceed their expectations.
    • Document customer interactions and feedback accurately.
    • Collaborate with other teams to escalate and resolve complex customer issues.
    • Utilize data and metrics to improve processes and decision-making.

    Requirements

    • Passion for providing exceptional customer service
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
    • Familiarity with using customer service software and tools is a plus
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
    • No prior experience is required, but some background in customer service or related fields is a plus.
