Internship abroad in Human Resources – Compensation & Benefits
in Nigeria ( summer semester 2024 ).
We offer students (m/f/d) the opportunity to complete the mandatory internship or a voluntary internship at our parent company Julius Berger Nigeria Plc in Nigeria for 5-6 months. The assignment takes place in the Human Resources department of our head office in Abuja.
What tasks can I expect from us?
- You support the HR manager on site with the special project “Compensation & Benefits”
- You will also receive extensive insights into daily HR processes and procedures. After training, you support your colleagues.

When is this internship right for you?
- You are at least in the 5th semester of a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on human resources management or you are in the corresponding master’s degree.
- You can provide proof of a current study certificate.
- You have good knowledge of German and English.
- You are interested in working in a multicultural, international project team and you like to show your own initiative.
- Good communication is important to you and you enjoy working in a team.
- You have good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
- The duration of 5-6 months is no problem for you (please specify desired period).

Under the supervision of the Realty Specialist/Supervisory Housing Assistant, the incumbent is responsible for supporting the Housing office in the search for safe and secured properties; oversees the management and maintenance of residential properties leased by the USG; advises the Realty Specialist on lease decisions; administratively maintains housing files; prepares correspondences for landlords and local government authorities; track and update all housing related databases and develop databases to track landlords’ maintenance, upgrades, repairs, make readies etc. Incumbent will be designated as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for one or more housing related contracts.
