3. Job Title: Safety, Health, and Environmental – SSHE Specialist I
Description
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) Specialists not only support one or more safety, security, health, or environmental subject areas for a particular site or functional group within an affiliate but also provide a level of subject matter expertise in one or more areas.
- The SSHE Specialist influences the field organization without formal authority by demonstrating strong operations and/or maintenance skills, and interacting effectively with operations/manufacturing/pipeline/other field organizations.
- The SSHE Specialist also demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills while working with diverse groups.
- This job role will cover some but not all of the responsibilities listed below.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generates/reviews minor permits and communicates with agencies on issues not being handled by Business Line Headquarters staff
- Serves as local subject matter expert for compliance and / or OI related questions
- Develop/enhance site-specific compliance tools
- Provides ongoing reviews of compliance for agency and internal requirements (e.g. regulatory, OI system (oi), PSM (Process Safety Management))
- Serves as liaison between Operations and Business Line Headquarters staff
- Assists in preparing for oi or agency assessments; coordinate follow-up activities and responses
- Coordinates surveys/comments and impact estimates on proposed regulations, as needed

Description
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Supports and enhances 2D/3D seismic and wellbore acquisition programs across company. Will interface with the operating groups, other technical specialists, and vendors to provide 2D/3D seismic and borehole seismic survey acquisition solutions which safely meet organizational goals and commitments. May serve as a formation evaluation specialist.

Description
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Legal Advisory: Provide legal advice and guidance to management and business units on corporate, commercial, contractual, and regulatory matters.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret contracts, agreements, memoranda of understanding, and other legal documents.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a recognised university.
- Call to the Nigerian Bar and possession of a valid qualifying certificate to practise as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
- A Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
- A minimum of 5–8 years of relevant post-call legal experience, preferably in a corporate, commercial, or in-house legal environment. The experience requirement can be adjusted to the organisation’s needs.
- Experience in contract drafting, negotiation, corporate law, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.
- Knowledge of Nigerian legislation, regulatory frameworks, and corporate governance requirements.

6. Job Title: COMMISSIONING AND START UP SHIFT SUPERVISOR
Description
MAIN FUNCTIONS
To lead the field activities within the shift in the execution of the integrated operations, Commissioning and Start up plans, by ensuring the completion and commissioning start-up of the plant (Train 7 Project Scope) are carried out in a safe and efficient manner as per procedures and as directed by commissioning a startup lead.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead the operators in the daily commissioning and start up activities to ensure that safe working conditions are maintained at all times and work progress are maintained as per project schedule.
- Lead the team (principal/senior operators, operators) in the regular work down of process/utility lines, installation, tie-in, etc. to ensure that plant is built as per design, to the right quality and to ensure operability.
- Act as a signatory (at the shift supervisor/AGST level) to the commissioning and startup permit. to Work (PTW) system, prepare and issue PTW to the Maintenance/Contractors team for effective control, authorization, and safe work execution.
- Work with the contractor/vendor personnel and provide close involvement and oversight on the plant completion, integrity checks, and commissioning activities to ensure flawless and safe execution.
- Supervise project execution/tie-in in the brownfield environment to ensure that plant project are implemented as per design, properly commissioned, with as built document draft available in the shift without any information gap within the shift with regard to the new change.
- Participate in the development of the commissioning, startup, and shutdown plans and their execution as assigned by the Commissioning Shift Superintendent for effectiveness in plan implementation
- Participate in the development and review of operations/commissioning, startup, and shutdown.procedures for the Train 7 project scope, capturing lessons learned, and enabling continuous improvement in performance.
- Support the asset shift team in carrying out operational activities during periods of low CSU activities in order to balance the existing workload across the shift and to maintain efficient plant operation.
Job Requirement
- A higher national diploma or university degree in chemical engineering or another engineering/science discipline. Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of working experience in LNG plant operations with at least 6 years of experience in plant operations as principal operator or at supervisory level.
- Experience with commissioning and startup of a facility is considered a qualifying advantage.
- Experience in providing CSU-related design input and working in an EPC or a plant environment is considered an advantage.
- Working experience on part of, or the entire, ORP Project life cycle (from conceptual design through to final commissioning and handover) and/or in the front-line Oil and Gas production operations is desirable.
- Experience with management of change processes, operations integrity/process Safety management processes
