ABOUT THE JOB
- As the Spare Parts Store Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the availability, accuracy, and security of engineering spare parts inventory to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock transactions, and promoting best practices in spare parts storage and inventory management.
- Working closely with Maintenance, Finance, and Central Stores teams, you will ensure efficient inventory control, accurate system records, and compliance with inventory management standards while supporting business continuity through effective spare parts availability.
IS THIS YOU?
- B.Sc. or HND in Social Sciences, Purchasing & Supply, Engineering, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing engineering spare parts inventory or working within a spare parts store
- Good knowledge of SAP for spare parts inventory management
- Strong understanding of engineering spare parts and their applications
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities
- Passion for maintaining a clean, well-organized, and secure store environment

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Optimize spare parts inventory through regular stock verification across the plant and network to maximize inventory sharing
- Ensure engineering materials are issued against active reservations with a 100% fulfillment rate
- Receive returned spare parts accurately and process appropriate stock credits and debits.
- Foster effective collaboration with Maintenance, Finance, and Central Stores teams.
- Promote inventory management best practices and compliance with store procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance store operations and inventory accuracy
- Maintain high-quality inventory through proper storage arrangements and adherence to FIFO principles
- Conduct regular stock ageing analysis and ensure appropriate storage conditions
- Ensure timely posting of stock cards and liquidation of manual transactions during physical inventory exercises or system downtime.
- Support continuous improvements in inventory management processes and store operations
- Leverage SAP and inventory management tools to improve stock accuracy and reporting

ABOUT THE ROLE
- As the Haulage Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement and availability of finished goods across the supply chain network. You will be responsible for planning haulage activities, managing stock deployment across Distribution Centres (DCs), and ensuring optimal inventory levels to support business demand.
- You will leverage planning systems such as Blue Yonder and SAP S4 HANA to coordinate stock transfers, monitor inventory performance, and collaborate closely with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Warehouse, and Logistics teams. This role requires strong analytical capability, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service levels while minimizing stock shortages and write-offs.
IS THIS YOU?
- Bsc/HND in Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in Logistics Planning, Demand Planning, Production Scheduling, or Supply Chain Operations
- Experience within a high-volume FMCG or beverage manufacturing environment is an advantage
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning processes, including demand, supply, production, and logistics planning
- Advanced knowledge of SAP S4 HANA, SAP BW, and Blue Yonder planning systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
- Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple activities in a fast-paced environment
- Results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the weekly haulage and stock planning process through the Blue Yonder system, integrating production and sales plans across the supply network
- Create and manage Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) to ensure timely and accurate deployment of finished goods
- Monitor inventory levels daily and implement actions to prevent out-of-stock situations
- Ensure all locations maintain sufficient finished goods inventory to meet business demand
- Collaborate closely with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to drive operational excellence
- Facilitate haulage and stock review meetings to ensure alignment and execution of plans
- Promote best practices in haulage planning and inventory management
- Maintain haulage planning master data within Blue Yonder, ensuring planning accuracy and system effectiveness
- Monitor product shelf life and stock ageing to minimize write-offs and inventory losses
- Build strong working relationships across supply chain functions to ensure seamless execution of stock deployment plans
- Participate actively in weekly regional Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) reviews
- Ensure transparent communication of haulage plans and inventory performance to stakeholder
- Measure haulage plan execution and provide performance reports as required
