    Job Description

    • Provide user-level technical support for end-users, Computers, Printers, etc.
    • Assist With cable network, security and internet management and troubleshooting
    • Assist with data storage backups and technical documentation of IT systems and networks

    The SAP Young Professionals Program is a free initiative delivered by the Digital Skills Center of SAP. The program, which lasts for 2 months, is designed to give recent graduates the certifications and soft skills required to begin a career as an SAP Associate Consultant. At the end of the training, SAP will work very closely with the program graduates to introduce them to a host of opportunities with SAP customers and partners to work as an SAP Consultant.

    The role of an SAP Consultant can be divided into 2 functions: Functional and Technical.

    WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM A CANDIDATE:

    • We’re seeking an On-Site IT Support Intern – Schneider Digital- based in Lagos, Nigeria.
    • He/she will be responsible for supporting Schneider Electric Workplace and infrastructure Equipment (including network-related ones) physically on-location at Schneider Electric facilities, including but not limited to:

    Workplace equipment on-site services:

    • Desk-side support.
    • Hardware break and fix.
    • Warranty Management (vendor and third-party contract management).
    • IMACD (Installation, Move, Add, Change, and Disposal Services).
    • Hardware and Software Asset tracking.
    • Stock level Management
    • Non-Catalogued Onsite Services (Non-Standard Service Requests).

    Infrastructure Equipment on-site services:

    • Eyes and Hand Support to the server and network administrator.
    • Escort Services to external suppliers.

    Your Role

    • Provides Desk Side support services to end users when incidents cannot be resolved remotely through the Service Desk.
    • Provides HW Break & Fix support services to end users when hardware incidents need a replacement of a defective whole unit by an equivalent one.
    • Provides Asset Tracking services for Schneider workplace equipment. Assure CMDB is updated to reflect required, accurate data for new equipment deployments, equipment reassignment, equipment returns, etc.
    • Provides Eyes & Hand support to operate technical task requests on infrastructure equipment and under the control of the remote administration team.
    • Deploy and manage non-network attached printers, storage devices and miscellaneous peripherals.
    • Provide physical on-site and/or remote support services for end users in remote locations.
    • Provide on-site support for any activities for server maintenance upgrades.
    • Provide L1 support for audio/ visual equipment.
    • Provide technical support for special events such as annual meetings, Board meetings, and training sessions for internal/external end users.
    • Perform and support hardware and software IMACDs, reinstallations, updates and downloads for desktops, laptops, SmartPhones/Tablets and other mutually agreed and defined devices.
    • Coordinate with external vendors for service to location infrastructure components.
    • Provide installation/relocation/disposal of network printers.
    • Provide a secure location for storage of on-site tapes.

    Qualifications

    • Innovative and creative.
    • A minimum of 6 months of end-user support experience in different platforms.
    • A recent graduate 2021 – 2022 academic year in computer science or IT.
    • Must have completed the NYSC program.
    • Ability to work flexible hours depends on need.
    • The successful candidate needs to be continually learning the latest platforms and technology tools.
    • Overall technical understanding of all IT platforms and services (e.g. networking, hardware, web development, app development, cloud computing, etc.).
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    IT Systems Auditor Responsibilities

    • Audit of the Company’s Information Technology (environment, processes, and functions) in line with the audit charter
    • Design and execute audit programs and test plans to evaluate the reliability of internal controls. Performing all phases of audit planning, fieldwork, reporting results, and performing subsequent follow-up procedures of remediation activities.
    • Carryout review of the Group’s data security, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security monitoring activities
    • Revenue assurance (income and expense verification) using CAATs and other techniques
    • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Audit
    • Assist with the assessment of IT-related changes, and implementation of security patches.
    • Test the design and implementation of IT controls, including the control operating effectiveness.

    Requirements

    Ideal candidates should:

    • Have IT Audit & Investigation/risk assessment experience in a business environment
    • Be self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple, complex priorities and deadlines simultaneously
    • Have the ability to work with minimal supervision and pay attention to details.
    • Have good business writing and communication skills; an analytical/critical thinker with problem-solving skills
    • First Degree from a reputable higher institution
    • Professional qualification: ICAN or ACCA and CISA Certified
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IS audit function in the Banking/Insurance/ IS Audit firm/ financial institution.

    • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
