1. Job Title: Channel Manager (South-South Region)

Job Description:
To sustain and enhance targeted gross revenue and gross acquisition in respective SME business by effective implementation of planned sales and channel management strategies.
Job Responsibilities:
Acquisition, management and retention of SME/SMBs directly and indirectly through channel partners:
- To identify and recruit suitable channel partners who will drive the effective acquisition of SME customers.
- Ensure adherence of channel partners to all guidelines as this will help ensure their profitability and sustain demand. Responsible for the implementation, acquisition & retention strategy for prospective and existing accounts in the zone.
- Grow the usage of corporate products in the states.
- Drive the sales of Mobile Advertising products directly and through channel partners.
3rd Party Channel Management:
- Visit a minimum of 3 channel partners per week. Such visit should be targeted as ensuring availability of POS materials, reviewing performance against target, reviewing product knowledge of field sales agents and taking corrective actions as required.
- Facilitate and coordinate the recruitment, training and development of Field Sales agents.
- Constantly ensure field sales employees are optimally deployed by advising channel partners and dealers on SIM Cards and other products billing on SnD portal, route planning, territory management, etc.
Target Allocation, Forecasting, Reporting:
- Accountability for ensuring that agreed target are cascaded across channel partners and field sales agents.
- Responsibility for managing performance variances and reallocating targets as required.
- Timely report of all activities (Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly etc.. and as required).
Cross Functional Liaison and Support:
- Co-ordinate with learning & Development and marketing for product, process and behavioral trainings of field sales employees and channel partners.
- Work with service delivery and support bill delivery and collection in the zone.
Channel branding and visibility:
- Ensure appropriate branding is carried by all active outlets within the zone.
- Identify visibility opportunities for Airtel brand within the zone.
Market & Competitor Analysis:
- Monitor the activities of competition in our target market and customer segment and develop or recommend counter measures to win competition.
Required Education & Experience:
- A University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related course.
- 3-5 years preferably in FMCG, Consumables & telecom.
- 3-5 years’ experience in managing sales channel or Key Accounts.
Required Skillset:
- Managing and monitoring channel partners.
- Expanding our acquisition drive and retaining accounts.
- Creating visibility of Airtel products and services.
- Effective and timely communication of all schemes and product launches to existing customers and channel partners.

Job Description
Achieve and maintain a high-quality level of the 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G Radio Network Voice and Data Services. Ensure high quality performance on all technical activities, and the highest possible level of customer satisfaction. Provide effective support and continually seeking for quality improvements within the Mobile Network Optimization project – target is for Airtel to achieve and maintain first position across all BM KPIs.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure optimization of Network:
- Propose indicators for radio performance monitoring towards maintaining best radio voice and data services qualities.
- Review system alarms and recommend solution when needed, track implementation and impact benchmarking.
- Propose preventive and/or corrective actions for the provisioning of acceptable QoS for voice and data services.
- Monitor & analyze the GSM, WCDMA/HSDPA, LTE and 5G Radio Network Statistics on daily basis.
- Achieve & maintain the Radio Network Performance as per the contracted KPIs (Accessibility, Retainability, Mobility & Service Integrity).
- Responsible for reducing congestion and drops, improving the IRAT Handover, Soft Handover, Location Update, Paging, CSSR, RRC Connection & RAB Establishment Success rate in his designated area for all Voice, Video Packet & High Speed, issuing capacity requests whenever needed.
- Responsible for Inconsistencies Checks, Packet Throughput, Parameter changes & Physical changes.
- Responsible for testing the radio performance for the newly integrated sites.
- Discuss the frequency & Scrambling Code retunes requests in his designated areas with his Team Lead.
- Responsible for the drive test analysis and taking the necessary actions to improve the performance of his area.
- Participate in technical discussions with the customer in order to gather product-related information.
- Perform Radio Network Surveys, i.e. visit possible sites in order to judge if they are suitable from a radio network point of view (Hardware & Location).
- Follow-up and ensures the existence of sufficient capacity in the radio network (including on the BSC-BTS and the air interfaces).
- Researches and implements solutions for continuous service improvement in respect to parameter settings and configuration.
- Investigates and recommends proper solutions for customer complaints; validates proposed solutions related to parameter modification on the radio network.
- Validates the recommended radio parameters and configuration provided by the MS Team.
- Recommend measurement tools for the radio, Abis and A interfaces and related post processing tools.
- Propose and verifies the implementation of optimal solutions in order to improve operational efficiency of the unit.
- Follow-up on the corrective actions based on the internal reports of coverage analysis.
- Follow-up on the general Radio access technology trends relating to radio optimization activities.
- Strong background of LTE optimization in multi-layered setup.
- Good Presentation skills and should be thorough in handling large data.
Educational Qualification & Required Experience:
- Relevant University Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years optimization & Planning experience, primarily in Optimization of 2G, 3G & 4G.
- Minimum of 4 years with vendors (Huawei, ZTE and Nokia) experience or well-known operators in telecommunication or related field.
- Excellent knowledge of the field of 2G/3G/4G radio communication and optimization.
- Strong 5G Optimization experience will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge in performance management, DB parameters and features.
- Ready to work extra hours during rush periods.
- Maintains professional relationships with all departments.
- Ensures confidentiality of information.
