    Accountabilities

    • Support the corporate strategy of the business with the view to ensuring its consistent profitability and continued daily posting of sales into the financial system
    • Prompt confirmation of customer payment to the Sales and Marketing Team
    • Prompt preparation of customer sales invoice
    • Posting of customer receipt and matching with the appropriate invoice
    • Maintain and update the customer receivable worksheet
    • Follow up on customer unpaid balances 
    • Check and ensure the correctness of statutory deductions made on customer invoices
    • Preparation of weekly sales and customer balances report 
    • Filing of waybills, invoices, cashbook receipts and other relevant document
    • Other responsibilities as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or relevant field
    • Must have commenced ICAN examination with Intermediate level passed at a minimum
    • At least 1-2 years post NYSC work experience in a similar role.
    • Must possess very sound knowledge of basic accounting
    • Basic knowledge of taxes and statutory deductions in Nigeria
    • Must be able to do simple analysis and interpretation of financial transactions.
    • Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines, determine priorities and organize work to meet objectives and identify and deal with problems
    • Outstanding attention to detail with an ability to reconcile complex accounts
    • Ability to maintain strong relationships with external parties and internal colleagues
    • Knowledgeable in IFRS

    Key Responsibilities

    • Learn and understand all relevant regulations and internal Risk & Compliance policies and procedures

      • Cheque collection/Issuing of Banker’s cheque

      • ATM Custodianship
      • Vault Custodianship
      • Accounts maintenance – Limits set ups, Static Data requests, Additional Account Opening
      • Balance confirmation
      • Customer Complaint handling
      • Generate Statements of Accounts
      • Maintenance of Stock of Secured Stationeries
      • Issuance of Instapack Card
      • Internal & external reports
      • Other assigned duties 
    • Assist Branch Operations and Service Manager (BOSM) to ensure all Operational, Compliance, Control procedure and guideline are properly carried out and adhered to.
    • Comply with internal policies and external regulations and ensure all internal and external report to be submitted on time
    • To comply with respective Money Laundering Prevention Procedures and be alert at all times to unusual or possibly suspicious customer activity and should report any suspicious activity to the respective Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer and Line Manager
    • Build up good relationship with all internal and external customers.
    • Make effort to improve personal product knowledge and to acquire multi-products processing skill.
    • Make effort to improve personal productivity and output level. To achieve established standard.
    • Understand and carefully follow the Bank’s operational risk control standard underlying operating process and ensure the risks are minimized.
    • Act as System admin and have access to the server room
    • Ensure timeliness of managing customer’s complaint.
    • Migrate customers to the remote channels through online activation, E-Statements and ATM usage
    • Manage, handle and record customers complaints.
    • Oversight of queue management and Banking Hall look and feel 
    • Oversight of marketing collateral and positioning
    • Deliver communication on Product and channels to customers in an effective manner.

    Business

    • Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates
    • Refer bank products/channels to existing clients.
    • Evaluate customers’ needs and provide high level, accurate, information and advice on products and channels.
    • Support acquisition and growth of customer base through referrals.

    Processes

    Operational Risk Monitoring

    • Ensures all Branch transactions comply with internal and external policy and regulations

    Clearing

    • Outward clearing processing and control
    • Custodian of the following Banking instruments: Cards, Cheque books, Tokens, Frontline registers
    • Recommend Processes and service improvements, based on customers feedback and observations, to the Head Client Experience at the quarterly VOF Forum

    Risk Management

    • Responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling, and mitigating risks to the Group. Also, an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing them
    • The ability to interpret the Group’s financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures
    • Remain alert to the risk of money laundering and assist in the Bank’s efforts in combating it by adhering to the principles in relation to: “Identifying your customer, knowing your customer, reporting suspicions, safeguarding records and not disclosing suspicions to Customers”.    

    Operational Risk Policy

    • Ensure completion of all Leading Key Risk Indicators (KRI’s) / CST issues relating to the branch.
    • Ensure understanding of the Group’s Risk Management Framework including relevant Operational Risk Framework ownership for branch sales and service-related risk. Ensure a full understanding of the risk and control environment in area of responsibility

    Governance

    • Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group’s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas 
    • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
    • Responsible for delivering ‘effective governance’; capability to challenge fellow executives effectively; and willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner.

    • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.

    Job Description:

    To be part of the British High Commission (BHC) team responsible for handling the transport administrative functions and requests / enquiries received daily from internal customers and stakeholders; scheduling journeys, allocating drivers and confirming bookings made in compliance with FCDO policy and post regulations.

    Roles and responsibilities:

    • Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Transport Manager or Deputy Transport Manager.
    • Provide Administrative Support to the transport management team by attending to all transport booking requests for BHC Abuja providing a courteous and efficient service for over 300 staff and visitors.
    • Manage the transport helpdesk and helpline by communicating effectively with all stakeholders; promptly acknowledge requests, plan journeys and update the transport app daily with drivers’ names and phone numbers for all confirmed bookings.
    • Prepare job rosters for a combined pool of 25 drivers using improved electronic booking systems and flexible driver shift patterns. 
    • Provide timely updates of any changes made to drivers assigned daily duties, ensure transport is available to customers at the right time and location and keep relevant parties adequately informed when operational adjustments become necessary.
    • Deliver first line support and engagement to a range of transport customers/stakeholders, responding to general enquiries and feedback (including complaints) promptly and professionally.
    • Collate and present Management Information (MI) on the Transport Section’s operations to enable timely reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) on service delivery.
    • Assist in the planning and co-ordination of logistical arrangements for VIP visits and up-country journeys in conjunction with key stakeholders.
    • Manage staff overtime and annual leave within the department and provide forward planning support to the Transport Manager / Deputy Transport Manager.
    • Assist in the collection and filing of vehicle safety checklists conducted by drivers and team leaders.
    • Prepare invoices for transport related services rendered to 1HMG partners / customers.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Minimum qualification – University degree (BSc certificate or Equivalent)
    • Previous work experience in an administrative and/or communications role
    • Flexible approach to problem solving with an ability to think on their feet 
    • Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a large team with minimal supervision at a fast pace
    • Good organisational skills – capable of working quickly and accurately
    • Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Microsoft Excel

    Desirable qualifications, skills, and experience

    • Relevant experience in customer services.  
    • Familiar with the Nigerian transport system

    Requirements

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelors degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
    • 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in fintech, e-commerce, or a growth-focused role.
    • Proficiency in SQL, with experience in data modeling and querying large datasets.
    • Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI.
    • Strong knowledge of metrics such as LTV, CAC, CR%, and churn, with the ability to apply them to a business context.
    • Familiarity with data systems relevant to business growth, such as CRMs, attribution platforms, and analytics stacks.

    • Experience in African markets and understanding of the SME ecosystem.

As part of our Early Career Program as a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for:

    • Coordinating with crew members to deploy tools and services, including liaison with customers and shore-based Operations Managers.
    • Participating in finding solutions to complex technical problems through hands-on work at the rig site
    • Preparing, documenting, and receiving outbound and inbound equipment and products, including products to and from the well site
    • Providing support for tenders, including data analysis and cost estimates, as well as performing invoicing activities
    • Engaging in job shadowing opportunities to develop a holistic understanding of the business

    • Have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (all fields), Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geosciences, or similar, within the last 36 months.
    • Have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a scale of 4.0 (or equivalent)
    • Be fluent in written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills
    • Be legally entitled to work within the country in which you are applying without company sponsorship or time restriction.
    • Have good interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for teamwork and the ability to guide others.
    • Demonstrate good leadership, critical thinking, and numerical skills as well as data analysis and project management abilities.

    Job Description

    The U.S. Consulate in Lagos, Nigeria is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the Warehouse Worker position in the General Services Office. The U.S. Mission in Nigeria supports Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA). All genders are welcome to apply.

    Duties

    The Warehouse Worker is responsible for safe handling, moving, storage, and inventory of both expendable and non-expendable items. The position is in the General Services Office and under the supervision of the Warehouseman Foreman.                

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Completion of primary school education is required.

    Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of experience in manual labor or warehouse work is required.

    Job Knowledge

    The following job knowledge is required. 

    • Good working knowledge of warehouse operations, procedures, USG safety and security standards.
    • Good working knowledge of maintenance and efficient usage of warehouse storage space.
    • Good working knowledge of conducting inventory and stacking of items/equipment.

    Please address this factor in your ERA application under Major Duties and Responsibilities.

    Skills And Abilities

    The following skills and abilities are required.

    • Ability to physically perform loading and unloading. Must be able to handle heavy objects smoothly and efficiently. Must be able to lift a maximum of 51 lbs. (23kg) under OSHA standards.
    • Ability to use warehouse tools and safely operate equipment such as forklifts, hand trolleys, electronic lifters etc.
    • Must be able to perform assign tasks in all types of weather, and environmental weather conditions to include at times severe cold, extreme heat, wet or dry weather conditions, and high winds.
    • Must have a valid Nigerian driver’s license. Must have had a valid driver’s license for a minimum of five (5) years.

    Salary: USD $7,178 /Per Year

    Requirements for Oil and Gas Technical Apprentice Programme 2025

    To be considered for the Oil and Gas Internship Technical Apprentice Programme, you must satisfy the following criteria:

    1. Have a National Identity Number (NIN) before applying for the OGTAP Scheme. Applicants are to note that they will be required to verify their NIN before proceeding with the application (NIMC verification charges apply). ALSO NOTE THAT MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS WILL LEAD TO AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION.
    2. Must be 16-35 years of age by May of the year of applying,
    3. Ordinary Level (O’ Level) WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or NBAIS – either external (GCE) or internal and must have a credit grade C in the following subjects.
