    • National Examination Council (NECO).
    • National Business and Technical Examinations (NABTEB).
    • Ordinary National Diploma (OND).
    • Trade certifications for specific categories.
    • Primary school leaving certificate (to be presented during the interview).

    • Higher qualifications than OND/NCE (e.g., HND, B.Sc.) are not accepted.

    Disqualification Criteria

    • Certificates not declared during recruitment will not be accepted later for advancements or changes in department.

    Categories and Educational Requirements

      • Marine Engineer Artificers (A1), Weapon Electrical Artificers (A2), Aircraft Engineers (A3, A4), Shipwrights (A5).

    2. Mechanical and Craftsmanship:

      • IT Technicians (C2), Seamen (D1), Survey Recorders (D2).

    4. Healthcare:
      • Medical Assistants (F1), Health Technicians (F2), Nurses (K).
      • Minimum Qualification: OND or professional qualification for technicians; SSCE with RN/RM for nurses.
    5. Specialist Roles:
      • Sportsmen/Women (D3): Proven sports talent.
      • Drivers/Mechanics (H): Valid driver’s license, apprenticeship certificate.
      • Bandsmen (G): Musical proficiency with SSCE qualification.

    Key Dates

    • Recruitment Aptitude Test: Scheduled for January 18, 2025.
    • Successful candidates will undergo basic military training and, upon completion, will be enlisted as Ordinary Seaman.

    • Carry out self-assessment of fuelling operations in line with JIG standards.

    Human Development and Management:

    • Ensure that aviation fuelling crewmen are regularly trained in accordance with JIG standards and HSSE procedures.
    • Lead, inspire and develop aviation operations fuelling crewmen to meet current and future operational requirements.

    Internal & External Stakeholders Management

    • Regularly liaise with government agencies such as FAAN, NCAA and NMDPRA on aviation operations matters.
    • Carry out quarterly fuelling operations meeting and obtain feedback from airlines to ascertain areas of improvement through survey
