The GSO Assistant supports daily operations across customer service and travel functions, working closely with embassy staff and their families. This is a supervisory role with direct impact on service delivery within the embassy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee GSO customer service and travel portfolios
  • Support Assistant General Services Officers in service delivery
  • Provide administrative and operational support to embassy staff
  • Coordinate logistics, procurement, and travel-related activities
  • Deliver guidance and training to customers
  • Handle inquiries professionally, including in high-pressure situations

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Psychology, Law, Business Management, Communications, or a related field

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years in logistics, procurement, project management, or administrative/business roles
  • At least 6 months of supervisory experience

Language:

  • Fluent English (spoken and written)

Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with administrative procedures and office operations
  • Understanding of procurement and travel regulations (e.g., Federal Acquisition Regulations)
