1. Job Title: Senior Reservoir Engineer

Purpose

  • Provide effective reservoir management of the producing reservoirs.
  • To provide reservoir engineering input and leadership for projects from initial opportunity identification to cessation of production, including selection and definition of development plans.
  • Ensures integration of subsurface and surface parameters in dynamic reservoir analysis, maximizing recovery efficiencies and optimizing production potential.
  • Manage reporting lines and mentor junior staff.

Supervisory Responsibility

  • Technical mentorship of interns, lower cadre reservoir engineers

Job Specification:

  • 1st degree in Petroleum Engineering or other Engineering degree with appropriate professional experience, required
  • 5–8 years of experience required
  • Skilled in key subjects within reservoir engineering discipline, which includes but not limited to: reservoir studies, reserves estimation, well test analysis, rock and fluid properties, decline curve analysis & production forecasting, well & reservoir management, field development planning and production support activities
  • Skill level = Capacity to perform these duties with minimal supervision
  • Experience with material balance and reservoir simulation required
  • Experience using standard Reservoir Engineering software, particularly: OFM, MBAL / PROSPER / GAP, Eclipse /T Navigator, Petrel, Ecrin / Saphir
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • High skill level user of MS Office software: Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Petroleum economic skills is a plus

Major Responsibility Area

Essential Function

  • Reviewing/designing, supervising, and analyzing plans and results for pressure transient tests.
  • Reviewing or preparing appraisal programs for reservoir engineering data (PVT, RCAL / SCAL, pressure data, well tests, MDT, etc.)
  • Reviewing data acquisition reports and lab reports from contractors—quality check samples & results, extract properties required for reservoir engineering studies
  • Developing production forecasts and predicting reservoir performance for approval of well proposals
  • Understand and support efforts to mitigate subsurface risk
  • Proposing cost-effective reservoir monitoring and surveillance programs
  • Perform and supervise reservoir simulation studies to test development concepts/recovery schemes and optimize recoveries
  • Continuously monitor reservoir performance, analyze data, and prepare reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform and supervise well reservoir surveillance analysis & make recommendations for optimization and proper management of reservoirs
  • Prepare and review written reports of reservoir performance, including explaining and presenting results
  • Develop and quality check reservoir performance predictions, including decline analysis and material balance on producing assets
  • Provide reservoir engineering input to all infill well proposals in terms of reserve calculations, opportunities, well locations, risks, and economic analysis.
  • Prepare and quality check forecasts for business plan and monthly production outlook
  • Review deterministic and probabilistic estimates of in-place hydrocarbon volume
  • Support reservoir related due diligence on potential farm-ins and acquisitions

2. Job Title: Senior Completions/Workover Engineer

Job Purpose

  • To provide Engineering knowhow for completions, well workover and intervention.
  • Delivers expertise on completions/workover/intervention design and program, Contractor/Operator Completions Equipment’ Methods and systems validation.
  • Material selection, stimulation technologies, optimizing completion, work over, intervention designs for rig and non-rig-based operations.
  • Monitoring well completions, workover, intervention operations and seeking engineering methods to improve activities and well performance.

Main Responsibility Area

Essential Function

  • Prepare well programs and end of well reports
  • Coordinate, review Well programs and End of Well Reports prepared by Completions/WO Engineers.
  • Appraising new completion, workover, wireline and well testing technology and products to determine their application completion operations, to improve time cost performance and safety conditions
  • Daly operation tracking, emphasis on the critical jobs performed, next courses of action and obtain instructions and clarifications on any amendment to the WORK program.
  • Coordinating, Planning and generating procedures for all completion operations and well intervention work
  • Work closely with Production and Operations to track well performance and continually optimize well frac design
  • Coordinate Contractor Completions Equipment’ Methods and systems validation
  • Manage sand control schedule and ensure efficient well cycle time Completions engineering champion, Mentoring and knowledge transfer to younger engineers
  • Coordinating and reviewing Completions/Workover technical specification and scope of work for equipment to be tendered and services for completion, workover, slickline, wellhead, coiled tubing and well testing
  • Coordinating and reviewing well cost estimates for future operations budgets and current operations AFE, ensuring the reliability of the data provided

  • Provide technical guidance for the development and optimization of performance standards

Ensure that the Well Completion, Re-completion Workover, Plug and Abandonment programs are implemented in compliance with Company’s EHSQ Policies & Regulations site, and contractors are supervised and motivated to perform job with high technical and EHSQ standards

Job Specification

  • Minimum 12 years cognate work experience in completions, intervention and workover with minimum 2/3 years field supervision
  • Valid IWCF/IADC Pressure Intervention certificate (Supervisor- Surface stack) or equivalent
  • A university degree in relevant discipline, IOC or service company experience is a plus.
  • High proficiency with IT and industry software.
  • Good analytical, communication and writing skills, with PC fluency and familiarity with tubular design applications
  • Proficient in English language, both in speech and in writing
