Job Title: FINANCE MANAGER – AGBARA – 0113
Job Purpose
To ensure the effective execution of all financial and accounting activities in compliance with international, national, and Group standards. The role is responsible for regularly monitoring and reporting the company’s financial status while providing timely Information Technology (IT) solutions that support operational efficiency and business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management and Accounting
- Manage and control financial activities to ensure compliance with company guidelines, applicable legal regulations, and accounting standards.
- Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget proposal and facilitate the plant’s operational and financial commitments by monitoring performance, evaluating results, and proposing corrective actions where necessary.
- Coordinate the preparation of monthly financial reports to provide timely and accurate financial analysis and support management decision-making.
- Continuously review the trial balance to identify and minimize incorrect postings.
- Troubleshoot and review key general ledger account codes to ensure the accuracy and correctness of financial postings.
- Create new account codes in Microsoft Dynamics Navision to ensure proper classification, consistency, and accuracy of financial records.
Information Technology Management
- Oversee the IT department to ensure the timely provision of technical support to all users.
- Ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, and availability of IT systems to support business operations and organizational needs.
Employee Development
- Identify employee training needs and support staff development through the implementation of relevant training and development programs.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
THE PERSON MUST HAVE
- A professional accounting certification, such as ICAN, ACCA, or an equivalent accounting qualification.
- Strong leadership, creativity, and accountability skills.
- Excellent strategic thinking and target-oriented capabilities.
EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Navision or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
