    PURPOSE OF THE JOB 

    To ensure that finished products for dispatch meet with standards set by the government and customer requirements. 

    THE JOB 

    • Ensure that the company and group products meet both the external and internal quality requirements.  
    • Ensure compliance and surpass customer expectations.   
    • Supervise laboratory assistants to follow standard operation procedures.  
    • Ensure laboratory sanitations are met to yield effective results.  
    • Responsible for stocktaking of laboratory equipment and reagents for record keeping.   
    • Carry out rheological analysis of flour products.   
    • Run daily proximate analysis of all company’s products.  
    • Conduct, monitor and report shelf life of company’s products.   
    • Create and manage external and internal check sample program and laboratory checks.  
    • Prepare chemicals and run protein analysis. 

    THE PERSON MUST 

    • Have a strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal control procedures.  
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team   
    • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Be familiar with auditing standards and regulations 
    • Have understanding on risks management

    QUALIFICATION 

    • Degree in Chemistry/Food Science and Technology. 

    EXPERIENCE 

    • Minimum 3 Years experience FMCG Industry.

    • Acknowledge and take ownership of projects once it is assigned to you by your teamlead.
    • Complete project design pack study and review, 24 hrs after assignment. Note: Project design pack includes the BOM, HLPD and design drawing.
    • Have a clear & integrated knowledge of project objectives, assumptions and risks. Ensure the contractor have this same understanding to avert scope creeps.
    • Provide daily project work plan and activity reports to team lead/data analyst, every day, throughout the duration of the project.

    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations in line with SHE standards, e.g. working at heights, working around power lines, working in greenfield environments, working around underground utilities, working at night,

    • Submit MST or P2P splice report sheets, OTDR trace test and hand-over reports.
    • Attend all project meetings – weekly review meetings, on-site kick-off meetings, divisional meetings, customer triggered meetings, emergency meetings.

    Requirements

    • University Degree in Telecoms, Engineering or Applied Sciences.
    • Certifications in Fibre Optic Cabling, CFOT or FOA will be an added advantage.
    • Over 2 years of proven track record in the supervision of fiber infrastructure projects in Estates (MDU/MTUs), High Streets (Metro) and Highways (long distance).
    • Sound knowledge of fiber network architectures, designs & splice plans.
    • Proficient use of fiber test tools e.g. OTDR, power meter & Light source,VFL.
    • Proficient use of basic data analytics software, e.g. Excel, Word, Google live sheets.
    • Proficient use of design soft wares e.g. AutoCAD, Visio/GIS tools e.t.c.
    • FTTH and P2P fiber maintenance experience is a distinct advantage i.e. fiber termination using fusion splice machines, testing & analyzing fiber links with OTDR and Light Source/Power Meters (LSPM), identifying fiber cores with VFLs, understanding loss budgets.

    THE JOB

    • Perform financial analysis of FMN financial statements (at Group, Parent Company, or subsidiary level) to assess performance, determine potential credit rating, and advise on the appropriate working capital position
    • Provide analytical support during the rating process, including collating responses from various teams as well as reviewing financial statements and internal records to provide information and responses to rating agencies
    • Analyze financial statements of direct competitors and other FMCGs, to determine FMN Plc’s positioning within the Nigerian FMCG industry
    • Support with the preparation of the quarterly presentation to stakeholders showing how FMN has performed
    • Coordinate meetings between Management and investors

    • The role will manage and be responsible for the Intelligence Requirement of all Shell companies in Nigeria.
    • Role is specialist in nature and requires a highly motivated individual with very strong, technical, professional, integration and collaboration skills applicable to both industry and Government circles.
    • The candidate will report solid line to the Security Manager, SNEPCo and Lagos and a strong working relationship with relevant Managers in the Security Function and other functions across SCIN.

    Responsibilities

    • Manages all aspects of the Intelligence function, including administration of personnel, budget control, systems, and procedures.
    • Manages the entire intelligence process, including information collection, processing and delivery of products.
    • Ensures all Intelligence Function activities are compliant with international and national legislative requirements, Shell standards and guidelines, VPSHR and procedural/functional best practice.
    • Maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures within the Intelligence Function and where necessary develop new procedures.
    • Manage information exchange and relationships across SCIN and the wider industry on the platform of the Oil Producers Trade Section (OPTS).
    • Drive and maintain an understanding of the Primary Information Requirements of the key decision makers in the business.
    • Provide guidance and advice to SCIN LT, Country Security Manager, SCIN Security LT and key decision makers on the capabilities, limitations, and functional value of SCIN Intelligence.
    • Prepare actionable security reports, including Threat Assessments (TAs), Situation Reports (SITREPS), Information updates, support Security Risk Assessment (SRAs) and threat updates for Security leadership.
    • Oversee the population and maintenance of the SCIN Intelligence database, including preparation of graphs, charts, tables and other visualization vehicles for data presentation.
    • Produce Intelligence Assessments of the operating environment as required.
    • Provide regular threat updates to include general summary, key events, threat trends, change in threat and threat assessments. Lead and develop integration of the Security Intelligence with the rest of the business.
    • Managing Intelligence across organisations, businesses, functions, and different geographical locations
    • Entrenching Intelligence culture and disposition across the various organisations, businesses, and functions.
    • Upskilling and making fit-for-purpose the available intelligence resources and personnel.
    • Managing/improving relationship with the GSA High Command (Police Area Commanders/DPOs, Battalion Commanders, EFCC, NDLEA, LASTMA etc) for effective collaboration and liaison.

    Requirements
    What we need from you?

    • At least, a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution
    • At least 5 of service in an  Intelligence Organisation or Intelligence arm of a Government Security Agency/Para-military/Military  or Intelligence producing private/commercial establishment. 
    • Industrial security experience and profession certification is an added advantage.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strategic thinker with good data management skill
    • Demonstrable leadership skills and experience in leading and managing teams.
    • Must demonstrate can do spirit, be highly motivated and a goal getter.
