Eligibility Criteria
GENERAL INFORMATION TO CANDIDATES
1. Applicant must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
2. Applicants are warned against giving false information or tendering fake certificates. Any false information or fake certificates discovered at any stage will lead to disqualification and subsequent prosecution of the applicant.
3. Applicants must possess a minimum of Second Class Upper Division for holders of First degree and Upper Credit for HND holders. Computer literacy will be an added advantage in all fields.
4. Applicants must possess certificates of full registration with their respective statutory professional bodies in Nigeria.
5. Applicants who obtained credentials from foreign institutions should ensure the certificates are authenticated by the Federal Ministry of Education and copies of all certificates are to be submitted at chosen aptitude test centers.
6. All applicants must present O’level West African Examination Certificate (WAEC), in addition to any other results such as NECO. Credit in Mathematics and English is compulsory.
7. NYSC discharge certificate or letter of exemption from NYSC is a compulsory requirement for enlistment.
8. Male applicants must not be less than 1.68 meters tall while female applicants must not be less than 1.65 meters tall.
9. Applicants should be between 22 and 28 years of age by 25 March 2024. Except Medical Officers who should not be more than 30 years.
10. Serving personnel, Soldier/Rating/Airman, and other paramilitary services personnel must obtain a letter of attestation duly signed by the heads of their units.
11. Applicants will be shortlisted for a qualifying aptitude test. The date and time of the aptitude test will be communicated via the Nigerian Navy website.
12. Applicants are to choose any of the following centers for the qualifying aptitude test:

About American Graduate Assistant Program
The American University of Nigeria endeavors to employ more U.S. Citizens who are early in their careers to come to Yola, Adamawa State and serve the campus community through service and activities. Those that are admitted must meet the credentials to be admitted into the graduate program (post-graduate in Nigeria) to study in the Master of Science in Communications for Social and Behavioral Change. The academic program is in conjunctions with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and consists of 36 credits and can be completed in two years. Those that are successfully employed will report to the Director of Sustainability who coordinates the President’s Office community service. They will serve around campus helping with areas identified by the President, Dean of Students, Director of Campus Activities and Director of Community Service (students).
Terms of Agreement
- On-campus single room in student Residence Hall (Hostel), if not possible because of space challenges, the student may have one roommate of the same gender.
- Two swipes to eat in the student cafeteria whenever the facility is open.
- A stipend will be offered on a monthly basis to assist with cost of living necessities (#50,000)
- Health service will be provided at the AUN Clinic
- All tuition and fees covered during the time of employment in the Master of Science Program
- For each six months of service, the American G.A. is allotted a one-way ticket and for one year, they are entitled to a roundtrip (return) ticket to the United States.
- Employee is on a 9-month service contract and will only work while students are at the university, meaning in the summer months’ post-graduation, and during the Christmas and New Year Holidays they are not required to be on campus.
- All the American G.A.s will be on a Nigerian student visa and will receive support from AUN for obtaining the necessary documents from Nigerian Immigration. American passports are required and not covered under the program.
- The G.A.s will work a maximum of 29 hours per week to assist with the program activities as appropriate.

How does the programme work?
- From Guinness, Smirnoff and Johnnie Walker to Baileys, Captain Morgan and Gordon’s, Diageo has a stable of premium drinks brands enjoyed the world over. Our Marketing teams play a big role in ensuring our brands live and breathe their purpose and we remain at the heart of celebrations everywhere.
- We want to create future “General Managers” for our brands: balancing strategic thinking for the future with real time business performance and understanding. Creating compelling and powerful stories to make our existing brands even stronger will be critical to the ongoing success of our brands – some of which are over 250 years old. But isn’t just about our legacy products, you may also be part of the launch of a new one too. Working as part of a team, you’ll use your creativity, vision and pioneering spirit to bring our brands to life.
- On this two-year rotation programme, you’ll get to experience two different roles and will be able to build your experience across multiple Marketing disciplines including media planning and execution, social media, innovation, budget management, business performance and drivers, shopper marketing and activation. Through working on iconic and innovative brands you will be inspired to excel and build the foundations of your Marketing and Commercial Capability. These foundations will help you to advance at an accelerated pace, where you’ll ready to specialise in an area of Marketing within Diageo after the two-year programme. 
- At Diageo, we believe in fostering a culture of continuous learning where every day presents an opportunity for growth, development. Across the programme, you will have a combination of formal training, mentoring and hands on learning with the wider Africa Cohort. This will help you gain a strong foundation of leadership skills, a deep understanding of Diageo’s operations and feel empowered by the end of your programme to follow various career paths within our organisation.

Requirements
Who are we looking for?
- On the qualification side, you’ll need to have acquired or be expecting to obtain an academic degree and be graduating in 2024 or within the last 2 years.
- You must be fluent in English and our graduate opportunities require you to be mobile and prepared to relocate geographically during the programme.
- Character is everything. You’ll need to be a curious, flexible, self-motivated team-player who loves to turn ideas into action and someone who shows integrity, respect for others and, above all, a passion for learning something new every day.

Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced and proficient Soil Compactor Operator to join our construction team. As a Soil Compactor Operator at Palton Morgan Holdings, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to compact soil and ensure a solid foundation for our luxury developments.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain soil compaction equipment, including vibratory compactors and rollers.
- Perform soil compaction in accordance with project specifications, ensuring proper density and compaction levels.
- Collaborate with site engineers and construction teams to identify compaction requirements and objectives for each project.
- Conduct pre-operation equipment inspections, checking for safety and performance issues.
- Adjust equipment settings and controls to achieve the desired compaction results.
- Safely transport and position the compactor on the construction site using a transport vehicle.
