Job Summary:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Officer to manage the financial records and transactions for our commercial lighting business.
- The ideal candidate will oversee invoicing, posting, bank reconciliation, and management accounting. The role requires strong numerical accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to work with financial systems.
Responsibilities
- Generate and issue invoices to clients for lighting products and services.
- Post financial transactions accurately into the accounting system.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare management accounting reports, including cost analysis and budget tracking.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Coordinate with sales and operations teams on order and revenue tracking.

Qualifications and Requirements for the Position of Account Officer At JMG Limited:
- B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ relevant accounting experience, preferably in a commercial or retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of invoicing, posting, bank reconciliation, and management accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
