This role is best suited for the PMM obsessed with data, details, attribution, user behavior, feedback, and product The PMM is one comfortable running data-backed experiments, can bet on their own creativity, possesses creative writing skills, has expansive product knowledge & is someone who displays strong ownership and results, and is ready to impact how the next generation of SMEs in Africa does business. We are looking for a marketer who thinks in systems and processes that scale and knows how to turn complaints, inquiries, or product gaps into revenue or product growth opportunities.

Responsibilities.
- Create and execute GTM strategies to launch new products.
- Implement and maintain lifecycle product flows for user activation and retention.
- Improve product education through different communication channels
- Conduct product research through feedback calls with users or in-depth market discovery.
- Creating copy and design direction for product and marketing landing pages.
- Create marketing campaigns, strategies, or loops to drive adoption and retention.
- Spot product loopholes and opportunities for revenue and create strategies to fill in those gaps.
- Track product and marketing effort performance and provide strategies to improve results.
- Crafting and contributing towards brand positioning efforts.
- Initiate or maintain strategic partnerships that can drive product goals.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably within the SaaS or tech industry.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in creating winning lifecycle workflows and campaigns.
- Proven track record of influencing and driving product growth.
- Experience in copywriting, campaign ideation, execution, and landing page optimization.
- Strong understanding of content & product distribution strategies.
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Understands how to use AI to improve product processes or results.
- Experience with CRM & data Analytics tools like Customer.io, Mixpanel,, Appsflyer, PostHog, and Google Analytics for customer engagement, attribution, & or event tracking is a plus.

This role will support the development of product features across the Bumpa app, including areas such as payments, orders, product listings, customer engagement, business management, and other core mobile experiences. The ideal candidate should have strong React Native experience, a good product mindset, and an interest in building tools that help small businesses sell, get paid, and manage their operations more efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Mobile App Development
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality React Native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Build and improve product features across areas such as payments, orders, product listings, customer engagement, and business management.
- Support the development and optimization of product features across key user journeys, including payments, orders, listings, and business management tools.
- Improve app performance, responsiveness, usability, and reliability.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and other Engineering team members to deliver mobile features.
- Contribute to technical discussions and help make practical engineering decisions.
- Translate product requirements into clean, maintainable, and scalable mobile solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and support good engineering practices within the mobile team.
Integrations and APIs
- Integrate mobile applications with backend services, RESTful APIs, and third-party tools.
- Support authentication, data synchronization, and error handling across mobile experiences.
- Work with backend engineers to ensure smooth and reliable mobile-to-server communication.
Testing and Troubleshooting
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and UI tests where applicable.
- Debug and resolve mobile issues in a timely manner.
