The Seplat Energy Producing Nigeria Unlimited Applied Technology Training Program (ATTP) is a prestigious, foundation-level technical training program designed to prepare young Nigerian graduates for entry-level technician roles in the oil and gas industry. The program is City & Guilds approved and combines structured classroom learning with hands-on technical experience.

It has been run continuously since 1995, originally by Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (MPNU) and now by Seplat Energy Producing Nigeria Unlimited (SEPNU), operator of the Joint Venture with the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL).

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Must be a Nigerian citizen
  • Must hold a National Diploma (ND) in one of the following disciplines:
    • Chemical Engineering Technology
    • Electrical / Electronic Engineering Technology
    • Mechanical Engineering Technology
    • Petroleum Engineering Technology
  • Must have graduated with a minimum of Upper Credit
  • Graduation year must be 2023 or later
  • Applicants with higher qualifications (HND, BSc, etc.) will not be considered
  • Must possess a valid government-issued ID:
    • National ID
    • Voter’s Card
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • International Passport
