Job Title: Senior Operations Analyst

Job Purpose

The Senior Operations Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing and optimizing the organization’s operational processes to enhance efficiency, improve performance, and support strategic goals. By leveraging data-driven insights, the Senior Operation Analyst will ensure seamless day-to-day operations while identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and increased productivity.

Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate current operational workflows and identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks.
  • Develop and recommend actionable strategies for process improvement.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to generate meaningful insights.
  • Support regulatory compliance reporting and performance tracking.
  • Support the planning and execution of operational projects.
  • Monitor project progress, timelines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze operational costs and identify areas for cost reduction.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Monitor expenditures to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and technical teams to improve operational deliverables
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of operational processes and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between departments and partner organizations to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Provide support for ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed.
  • Train team members (attendants and field workers) on tools, processes, and best practices.

Qualification & Experience

  • 1st degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field from a reputable University.
  • MBA or relevant professional development in Finance, Management Science & Operations Research and Mergers and Acquisition.
  • 8 – 10 years post – NYSC experience in operations, business analysis, operating environment or a similar role
  • Expert understanding and application of renewable economics, risk and decision science and Nigerian fiscal systems.
  • Proven competencies in using Data Analytics and Microsoft Office software programs.
