About The Recruitment
The Police Service Commission (PSC), in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), announces the commencement of recruitment for Fifty Thousand (50,000) Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force. This recruitment is approved by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to strengthen community policing, enhance internal security, and expand the manpower of the Force.

General Duty Cadre
- GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE, NECO, or equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) credits, including English Language and Mathematics
- Results must be obtained in not more than two sittings
Specialist Cadre
- GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE, NECO, or equivalent
- Minimum of four (4) credits, including English Language and Mathematics
- Results must be obtained in not more than two sittings
- At least three (3) years of relevant work experience
- Trade test certificates in the relevant field
Eligibility Requirements for Nigeria Police Force Recruitment 2025/2026
Applicants must:
- Be Nigerian citizens by birth
- Be aged 18 to 25 years for General Duty
- Be aged 18 to 28 years for Specialists
- Be medically, physically, and psychologically fit
- Meet minimum height requirements for General Duty only:
- Male: 1.67m
- Female: 1.64m
- Satisfy other conditions as stated on the recruitment portal
