Job Title: MECHANIC – POWER PLANT FLOUR MILLS OF NIGERIA, APAPA
Purpose
To ensure the smooth running of the installed generators for capacity utilization.
THE JOB
- Ensure that one exhibits an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations and never implements any change, whether directly instructed.
- Services and repair all diesel and gas generators in the factory.
- Operates all diesel and gas generators in the factory.
- Operates main distribution panels for power change – over.
- Carry out maintenance and repairs of installed generators to avoid breakdown.
- Carry out maintenance repairs of auxiliary equipment’s for the running of the generators.
THE PERSON MUST
- Have a good verbal and written communication skills.
- Be good in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining diesel and gas-powered generators and auxiliary equipment.
- Have hands-on experience in operating and maintaining main distribution panels for power change-over.
- Demonstrate strong mechanical and analytical skills in diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs.

- 5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings/Technical qualifications.
