1. Job Title: Principal Pipeline Engineer
Job Purpose:
- The position involves provision of technical input & assurance throughout the project lifecycle including Conceptual, FEED, Detailed Design, Procurement, Construction, Installation & Commissioning stages, to safeguard design, technical and operational integrity. Managing all pipeline engineering activities and deliverables for HA & HB-Buko projects.

Responsibilities
- Design activities concentrate on unique topics (remotely guided by procedures or scarce precedents).
- Translates the guidelines and standards into practice and solves common technical challenges and provides technical recommendations which have a perceptible impact on local business performance; actively drives the identification, development and implementation of new technologies and opportunities to optimize field operations.

2. Job Title: Principal Offshore Structural Engineer

To provide Offshore Civil/Structural Engineering expertise and support the HA & HB-Buko projects.
The HA & HB-Buko projects aim to provide circa 350-450 MMscf/d of gas to the NLNG Train-7 from 2029+, as well as 25-30 kb/d of oil and condensate for export. The projects’ projected gas supply constitutes circa 25% of the overall supply to the NLNG Train-7. The HA project completed FEED in Apr-25 and is now completing the tendering phase of the project contracts. While the HB-Buko project has initiated FEED in Q2-26. Current plan is for a joint HA/HB-Buko FID by end of Q1-27. Given the strategic importance of both projects to the NLNG Train 7, and to derisk the project execution schedule to protect the First Gas Date, a full integration and optimization of HA & HB-Buko has been endorsed by the JV partners to improve the business case and to accelerate further optimizations of the projects.

3. Job Title: Principal Offshore Engineer (HUC)
Responsibilities
The HA development project, in conjunction with the HB-Buko project, will be the first shallow water offshore hub in Nigeria and unlock the H-block located in front of the Niger Delta. These projects contribute to the Renaissance vision to become Africa’s leading energy company enabling energy security and industrialization in a sustainable manner. This project is critical to deliver gas to Train-7, which is planning completion in 2027. The offshore hub will allow development of gas fields in the area and will have processing capacities up to 500 mln scf/day where the gas will be exported to NLNG Train 7 through the OGGS pipeline. Fluids will be stabilized and exported.
The HA Project Development Project includes the engineering, procurement, fabrication, transportation & installation (T&I), and offshore hook-up & commissioning (HUC) of 3 separate platforms, which will be bridge linked.
The Principal Offshore Engineer (HUC) will be responsible for the hook-up and commissioning activities of all topsides and bridges (including systems and subsystems) at the project site (offshore). Additional responsibilities will include supporting the SWO Execution Lead with the transportation and installation of all in-country fabrication scopes (jackets and piles) and out-of-country scopes (topsides and bridges).
The project is schedule driven, so the candidate will need to proactively manage the T&I and HUC contractors and the respective work locations (onshore and offshore) and the installation/offshore window. It is essential that the candidate is highly motivated with the ability to manage multiple complex problems, integrating solutions across multiple disciplines in a dynamic project environment.
The candidate will be the direct line supervisor for Contract staff in the Execution Team. In P&E we believe that an inclusive and diverse workplace is essential to our future success.
- The Principal Offshore Engineer (HUC) role supports the SWO Execution Lead to achieve project objectives through the following accountabilities:
- Administrate the T&I and HUC contracts per the defined scope, within cost & schedule (SWO Execution Lead will be the CH)
- Transportation and installation of all in-country fabrication scopes (jackets and piles) and out-of-country scopes (topsides and bridges) for the HA development projects within cost & schedule
- Support the load-out of the three jacket structures and associated piles from the epF2 contractor (in-country)
- Support the load-out of the three topsides structures and two bridges from the EPF1 contractor (out-of-country)
- Manage the T&I design by the contractor and manage the interface between fabricators and contractor
- Complete hook-up and commissioning activities for all topsides and bridges at the project site (offshore)
- Provide input into the detailed design (DED) of the topsides and bridges, with the ability to incorporate critical activities related to offshore installation, hook-up, commissioning and handover into the final design
- Support Fabrication Manager and fabrication contractor complete systems/subsystems cold commissioning prior to sail away
- Define the carryover work, including finalizing an agreement between EPF1, HUC and Company prior to sail awayy
- Support the load-out of the three topsides structures and two bridges from the EPF1 contractor (out-of-country), as necessary
- Support Operations during dynamic/hot commissioning of each system and subsystem through final handover (P2A)
- Manage the interfaces with the following key groups: EPF1, epF2, Wells, T&I, HUC, Pipelay and ORCSU
- Participate in risk assessment process as well as other project reviews to identify key technical risks and propose solutions for those risks specific to jacket, piles, topsides and commissioning
- Ensure seamless handover of platforms and bridges from T&I contractor to HUC contractor
- Ensure seamless handover (P2A) of platforms and bridges to Operations
- Deliver risk-mitigation strategies and cost-saving opportunities through rigorous review (including contractor’s input) of topsides/bridges detailed design, as well as contractor’s strategies, plans, schedule and procedures
SPECIAL CHALLENGES
- Multiple worksites including onshore fabrication yards across multiple countries and shallow offshore project location
- The security situation in the Niger Delta
- Logistics management, integration across multiple disciplines and contractors as well as communication skills will be a primary challenge

Requirements
- Graduate in an engineering discipline, COREN registered with working knowledge of oil and gas facilities and project engineering systems, tools and practices
- Must have at least 15 years’ extensive experience in oil & gas industry
- Must have at least 10 years’ experience in offshore commissioning work, with at least 5 years in an offshore execution role
- Must have at least 10 years’ experience in commissioning various (gas compression, production, electrical, power generation, utility, flare, PACO, etc.) systems
- Must have experience and proven track record in contract management and able to maintain a good working relationship with contractors during the execution of the contracts
- Experience in multiple platform/package commissioning is preferable
- Offshore certifications (OSP, BOSIET, etc.)

- Leadership experience in offshore gas production & processing, offshore mega-projects construction with sufficient depth and breadth to assess and assure the risks associated with the execution of simultaneous activities offshore
