The main goals of the WHO Internship Programme are twofold:

  • Capacity Building: The program offers a framework where eligible students from diverse academic backgrounds can enhance their knowledge and skills. It fosters professional growth through exposure to WHO’s global health initiatives.
  • WHO Programme Support: WHO benefits from engaging interns who specialize in various fields. These include not only technical areas related to public health, but also administrative roles such as communications, external relations, and human resources.

Internship Fields

Internships at WHO span across:

  • Technical Areas: These include public health, epidemiology, research, and other fields directly related to WHO’s mission.
