About the Recruitment:
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has officially commenced its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise and invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for vacancies in the Superintendent, Inspector, and Customs Assistant Cadres.
Recruitment Categories:
- Category A: Customs Superintendent Cadre (CONSOLE 08)
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or equivalent from a recognized institution, along with an NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate. - Category B: Customs Inspector Cadre (CONSOLE 06)
Applicants are required to have an OND, NCE, or equivalent qualification from recognized institutions. - Category C: Customs Assistant Cadre (CONSOLE 03/04)
Candidates must possess a Secondary School Certificate with five (5) credits, including English and Mathematics, or relevant trade test/proficiency certificates approved by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity (where applicable).
General Requirements:
- Applicants must be Nigerian by birth.
- Completion of primary school with a First School Leaving Certificate is mandatory.
- Minimum height of 1.7 meters for males and 1.64 meters for females.
- Candidates must be medically fit and free of physical or mental challenges.
- A clean criminal record is required.
- Applicants must not belong to secret societies or be involved in drug-related offenses.
- A certificate of state/LGA of origin must be presented.
