Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Nigerian Citizenship: Must be a citizen residing in Nigeria.
- Enrollment: Must be a full-time first-year undergraduate student (2024/2025 session) at an accredited Nigerian federal or state-owned university.
- Academic Requirements: Must have at least five O-Level credits, including Mathematics and English, in a single sitting (WASC, SSCE, or NECO).
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old at the time of application.
- Exclusive Scholarship: Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship, grant, or bursary from other organizations.
- Non-affiliation with NLNG Staff: Applicants must not be a spouse, child, or relative of an NLNG employee.
Required Documents for Application
Applicants should prepare and upload the following documents, ensuring each file is correctly named:
- Recent passport photograph (white background, max 200kb)
- O-Level and UTME results
- University and JAMB admission letters
- University student ID card
- Birth certificate from the National Population Commission
- Local Government Area (LGA) letter of identification
- National Identification Number (NIN) slip
