About ELbM Scholarships for Master and Doctoral Students
The Education for Laser-based Manufacturing (ELbM) project is funded by the European Commission’s Education, Audio-Visual, and Culture Executive Agency’s Intra-Africa Mobility Scheme. Its aim is to equip partner institutions with the necessary skills and expertise in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering to promote economic development. Additionally, the project will facilitate the establishment of new laser-based manufacturing programs and support existing ones, with the ultimate goal of aligning curricula with industry requirements and harmonizing laser-based manufacturing courses across Africa.
The program will provide academic staff and postgraduate students with training opportunities in laser-based manufacturing, as well as expand educational offerings in Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Biomaterials/Biomedical Engineering.
The ELbM project is a collaborative effort among four African partner institutions, offering selected students and staff the chance to participate in postgraduate studies, research, teaching, or training.
