Job Summary
Norrenberger Financial Group is seeking an NYSC Finance Intern. The NYSC Finance Intern will support the Finance Department in carrying out day-to-day financial and accounting operations. The intern will assist with financial documentation, record-keeping, reconciliations, and reporting while gaining practical experience in financial management, compliance, and internal controls.
Job Details
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
- Support the preparation and processing of payment vouchers, invoices, and expense claims.
- Assist with daily cash management and bank reconciliation activities.
- Support the posting of transactions into accounting systems or spreadsheets.
- Assist in monitoring budgets and tracking departmental expenses.
- Support statutory and regulatory documentation where required.
- Assist in filing and proper documentation of financial records for audit purposes.
- Provide support during internal and external audit exercises.
- Assist with preparation of basic financial reports and summaries.
- Carry out other finance-related tasks as assigned by the Finance Officer or Manager.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current batch C 2025 NYSC member (Corper) seeking Primary Place of Assignment (PPA) and posted to Abuja.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
