Job Title: Human Resource Manager

Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our team in the manufacturing sector.
  • The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of human resources management – from recruitment and workforce planning to employee relations, compliance, and performance management – ensuring HR strategies are aligned with our operational and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment and workforce planning for factory and office roles.
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and continuous development programs.
  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance procedures.
  • Implement and monitor performance management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, pensions, and statutory regulations.
  • Develop HR policies and communicate them effectively across the organisation.
  • Support management in union negotiations and labour relations (where applicable).

Requirements for the position of Human Resource Manager at West African Ceramics Limited (Royal Ceramics)

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
  • Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, or any other relevant certificates is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 – 10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS/HR software and MS Office tools.
