Job Description

  • Our client is looking for a young, smart, dynamic, innovative, and focused Technical Assistant with little or no experience but with a strong passion to learn and grow. An individual with an elastic mindset, who speaks fluently, is ambitious, articulates, and has a stealth attitude. 
  • Working as a Technical Assistant you will be required to perform basic administrative tasks including filing, composing emails, printing documents, scheduling meetings, answering phones, and creating reports.
  • We expect you to provide basic assistance such as carrying out relevant or assigned research, preparing presentation slides/decks, and attending meetings where required.

Job Duties

  • Answering telephones and taking messages.
  • Composing emails and ensuring follow-up communications on email 
  • Typing up reports for the company.
  • Scheduling meetings.
  • Examine market opportunities and identify new potential customers
  • Provide recommendations on new products, services, and market trends to customers or stakeholders 
  • Participate in trade shows, training, and vendor product meetings to remain up to date on product knowledge, emerging trends, rebates, and product offering
  • Printing and filing documents.
  • Organising company and Executive’s travel arrangements.
  • Providing technical assistance where required
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the Profit Centre Manager.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with basic computer programmes including MS Office and database systems.
  • Working knowledge of email systems, computer hardware, and peripherals.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work without strict supervision.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
  • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks and prioritize workload with attention to detail.
