About European Union CSAS
The European Union CSAS (Climate Smart Agrifood Systems) is an initiative aimed at enhancing education and research in Central and East African universities. Through the CSAS program, funding is provided to support the training of graduate students in developing climate-smart agrifood systems. This collaborative effort involves five African Partner Institutions and one EU Technical Partner working together to equip students and staff with a comprehensive understanding of climate-smart agrifood systems.
The CSAS program offers scholarships for African students to pursue postgraduate studies, including Masters and PhD programs, in participating universities within Uganda, Kenya, Cameroon, Ethiopia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). These scholarships cover tuition fees, accommodation, travel expenses, medical insurance, and a living allowance.
