1. Job Title: Analyst, Subsidiary Finance & Capital Optimisation
Job Description
- Support coordination of subsidiary budgeting process
- Support timely preparation and rendition of financial reports by subsidiaries for management reporting purposes
- Support timely rendition of appropriate statutory reports to regulators
- Support preparation of Group Management Committee (GMC) reporting and Monthly Performance Reviews (MPRs) regarding subsidiary performance and insights
- Support preparation for and coordination of Monthly Performance Reviews (MPRs)
- Support timely preparation and submission of relevant board and management reports
- Contribute to process improvements to drive quality and timely reporting of the team
- Assist in coordinating interim and statutory audit processes of subsidiaries
- Assist in ensuring monthly and quarterly subsidiary performance review reports are presented to the Management Committee (MANCO) and Board of Directors
- Assist in coordinating all corporate finance activities for the Group, including mergers and acquisitions, divestments, capital raising, restructurings, equity and debt financing
- Assist in preparing Request for Proposals (RFPs) for advisors for corporate finance transactions
- Assist in selection and shortlisting of transaction and legal advisers for corporate finance transactions
- Assist in preparing financial models and work with transaction advisers to predict outcomes and support decision-making
- Assist in monitoring and project managing transaction workplans to ensure all target deadlines are met
- Assist in contributing to competitive bid proposals, formal presentations, and other documentation
- Assist in preparing information memoranda, valuation reports, and investor presentations
- Assist in monitoring due diligence processes conducted by advisers and providing regular updates to management
- Assist in obtaining relevant regulatory and internal approvals to ensure closure of corporate finance transactions
- Assist in end-to-end management of capital across all group entities, including ICAAP
- Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant policies
- Assist in ensuring policies and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are up to date and reviewed as required

Job Description
Macroeconomic Intelligence & Insight Development.
- Lead analysis of macroeconomic and policy developments across global and domestic markets.
- Translate macro trends into implications for the Bank’s balance sheet, sectors, and client segments.
- Contribute to position notes, outlook reports, and strategic briefs.
Regional & Cross-Border Economic Intelligence
- Lead development of macroeconomic insights across the Bank’s subsidiary and international markets.
- Contribute to regional macro risk heatmaps and comparative country analysis.
- Translate cross-country developments into implications for treasury positioning, corporate expansion, and client engagement.
- Support alignment of macro intelligence across Nigeria and subsidiary markets to ensure a consistent Group-wide view.
Forecasting & Scenario Analysis
- Develop and maintain forecasts across inflation, GDP, FX, and interest rates.
- Build and refine forecasting assumptions and analytical frameworks.
- Conduct scenario analysis, including downside and stress cases.

Content Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Draft and review economic intelligence outputs and executive summaries.
- Lead development of presentations for ALCO, Board, and senior management.
- Translate complex analysis into concise, decision-relevant slides.
- Support preparation for senior-level engagements (clients, regulators, investors). Contribute to briefing materials and talking points for the Chief Economist.
