- The Office of the Auditor General of ECOWAS Institutions (OAG) is an independent assurance office established to support ECOWAS Governance Bodies, particularly the Council of Ministers and Audit Committee, in carrying out oversight functions and promoting good corporate governance, accountability, and value for money across Community Institutions, Specialized Agencies, and Offices.
- The OAG conducts Community-wide financial audits, compliance audits, performance audits, investigations, and other special audits. Its structure includes the Audit Directorate, Directorate for Program Performance Audit, and Internal Services Division. The OAG is headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria.

- Assist with the preparation and implementation of work programmes and budgets.
- Support monitoring and control of budgetary allocations and prepare monitoring reports and data.
- Identify deviations from plans and propose corrective measures.
- Develop clear goals aligned with agreed strategies and priorities.
- Assist in preparing major and complex reports for management.
- Support the smooth operation of administrative functions, including work environment, office space, equipment, and information retrieval systems.
- Assist in identifying operational needs and supporting the implementation of rules that facilitate workflow processes.
- Provide staff with information on office administration procedures, processes, and practices.
- Assist with initiatives supporting the effective management of material and human resources, logistics, and procedures.
- Prepare objective, accurate, and coherent reports in accordance with ECOWAS Rules and Regulations.
- Provide technical and logistical support for the organization of activities.
- Support the analysis and review of incoming and outgoing files and documents.
- Scan and archive documentation relating to administrative processes.
- Prepare internal memos, circulars, and letters concerning administrative activities.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have:
- A Brevet de Technicien Superior (BTS) or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a similar field from a recognized institution.
- At least 5 years of experience in administrative services or related areas within an international public organization, including experience in contract management and/or contract administration.
- Broad knowledge of internationally recognized procurement standards and international procurement techniques and operations used for contracting a diverse range of goods and services.
- Knowledge of contract law and quantitative methods used to assist in measuring supplier capacity systems.
Age Requirement
Applicants must be below 35 years old. This requirement does not apply to internal candidates.

- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Knowledge of ECOWAS procedures and operational goals relevant to the position.

- Fluency in oral and written expression in English, French, or Portuguese. Knowledge of an additional ECOWAS official language is an added advantage.
Assessment Process
