The Nurse will provide quality healthcare services to ECOWAS staff, their dependents, and affiliated partners. The role involves supporting the in-house doctor, delivering clinical care, coordinating wellness programs, and ensuring high standards of nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the in-house doctor in daily clinical activities
- Develop and implement patient care plans with medical teams
- Deliver ethical and professional nursing care
- Provide emergency care when required
- Offer medical support at ECOWAS events
- Administer medications and manage wound care
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes
- Facilitate patient referrals to partner hospitals
- Conduct home visits when necessary
- Educate patients and families on health and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical and drug records
- Manage clinic consumables and inventory
- Perform patient assessments and vital checks
- Handle electronic health records (EHR) confidentially

Education & Experience:
- OND/BT or equivalent in Nursing from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on nursing experience
- Strong skills in patient care, medication administration, and monitoring
- Experience in areas such as pediatrics, gerontology, or clinical care
- Familiarity with medical equipment (e.g., EKG machines)
- Knowledge of healthcare best practices and wellness management
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
