ABOUT THE ROLE
- As a Marketing Assets Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management, governance, and deployment of marketing assets and point-of-sale merchandising materials across Nigeria. You will ensure that marketing assets are strategically planned, efficiently deployed, and fully tracked to support commercial priorities and brand performance.
- This role plays a critical part in driving execution excellence by providing visibility into asset usage, optimizing deployment effectiveness, and ensuring high-quality merchandising standards across all regions. You will work closely with trade marketing, sales, supply chain, finance, and external partners to enable seamless asset availability and impactful market execution.
IS THIS YOU?
- 5–7 years of proven experience in trade marketing, marketing operations, asset management, supply chain, finance, or audit roles within an FMCG or consumer goods environment.
- Strong understanding of POSM strategy, merchandising execution, and asset lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience managing inventory systems, preferably SAP or similar tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into deployment and optimization decisions.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and project management capabilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear reporting and insights at multiple levels.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and maintain accurate stock levels of all marketing assets and POS materials across all regions.
- Ensure high-quality standards for all merchandising materials, including branding consistency and durability.
- Implement and enforce governance protocols for asset usage, replenishment, tracking, and lifecycle management.
- Conduct periodic audits of asset stores nationwide to validate inventory accuracy, condition, and usage.
- Serve as the central point of visibility for asset location, quantity, movement, and associated costs.
- Collaborate with Data Insights & Analytics teams to identify high-potential outlets and priorities POS deployment.
- Define, execute, and optimize deployment plans aligned with commercial priorities and performance gaps.
- Coordinate with supply chain, warehousing, vendors, and field teams to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution.
- Track delivery timelines, asset movement, deployment effectiveness, and regional coverage.
- Support sales activations, campaigns, excursions, and executional initiatives with effective asset availability.
- Provide regular reporting on asset utilization, deployment ROI, cost tracking, and efficiency opportunities.
- Identify obsolete or underutilized assets and recommend redistribution or decommissioning actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices across regions and warehouses.
