About the Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship
The objective of the Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship is to motivate and educate students belonging to underprivileged and underrepresented communities to aspire for a career in computer science.

Scholarship Benefits
The Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship offers an opportunity for students like you to enhance your career prospects by receiving a scholarship of $7,500 CAD per year for up to four years. Additionally, successful applicants will be eligible for a paid internship relevant to their area of study after their first year of university.
Eligible Courses
The scholarship is open to students pursuing a four-year university degree in the following fields of study:
- Computer Science, General
- Computer Engineering, General
- Computer Engineering Technology
- Computer Hardware Engineering
- Computer Software Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Game and Interactive Media Design
- Information Systems
- Information Technology
- Management Information Systems
- Systems Engineering
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Hold Canadian citizenship or permanent residency
- Complete high school (outside of Quebec) or CEGEP (in Quebec) by 2023.
- Enroll as a full-time student in your first bachelor’s degree program in fall 2023.
- Pursue a degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, or a related field (see the application page for a complete list of accepted programs).
- Maintain a minimum average of 75% over the last three terms of available marks (see the application page for further details).
- Non-academic courses like career- or personal development-related courses will not be considered.
- Demonstrate financial need.
Moreover, a portion of the scholarships awarded will be specifically reserved for applicants belonging to communities that are underrepresented in computer science.

- Create an account and log in using the temporary password sent to you via email.
- Visit the homepage and click on “Search for Public Scholarships” tile .
- Search for “Amazon Future Engineer” or select “Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship” from the list by scrolling down.
