RECRUITMENT HALTED: The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDFCFIB) Suspends Application Portal (See New Date)

Immigration, Civil Defence, Correctional, and Fire Services

In a strategic move to enhance operational efficiency, the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the temporary suspension of its recruitment application portal. The announcement, signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj Gen AM Jibril (rtd), was released on July 16, 2025.

According to the statement, the suspension aims to optimize the functionality of the portal (https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng), which handles applications into various paramilitary agencies under CDCFIB’s oversight.

The portal is set to reopen on Monday, July 21, 2025.

This pause, the Board says, will allow for improvements that will enable the system to better manage the high volume of applications. The upgrade is intended to ensure a smooth, transparent, and fair recruitment process.

The CDCFIB expressed appreciation for the enthusiasm and patriotism of young Nigerians eager to serve their nation, reaffirming its commitment to fairness and transparency in the recruitment process.

Stay tuned for further updates as the application portal reopens.
