Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Procurement Services Specialist to be responsible for ensuring the timely issuance of Purchase Orders according to a client’s required time scales.
Job Details
- Ensuring change order requests and TQ’s are timely addressed
- Negotiating price and lead time from potential suppliers and placing Purchase orders to secure materials and obtain the best cost and supply opportunities while maintaining quality standards
- Managing the supplier catalogues to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of Purchase Orders
- Timely notifying End Users/Requisitioners when delivery will not meet the required schedule and escalating issues where necessary for resolution
- Ensuring compliance with all of the client’s Procurement Processes
- Reviewing commercial clauses, scopes, negotiating purchase orders terms and conditions, commercial pricing, and ensuring appropriate reviews and approvals are completed prior to execution

- Graduated with a minimum GPA of Second-Class Lower (2.2)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a procurement buyer or equivalent business experience
- Certifications in any of the following will be an advantage: The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), Nigerian Institute of Purchasing and Supply (NIPS), Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management (CISCM), Six Sigma, or other relevant procurement and supply chain certifications
- Strong decision-making skills
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities for managing complexities and risks
- Familiarity with supply chain technologies
