The NNPC/NAOC/Oando JV Tertiary Scholarship provides significant financial aid to eligible students, helping to cover tuition fees, books, and other educational expenses. Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

General Eligibility

  • Full-time Enrollment: You must be a full-time undergraduate student in a Nigerian tertiary institution.
  • Level of Study: Only students who are in their 100 level at the time of application are eligible.

Specific Categories

  • Host/Transit Communities Merit Award: This is exclusively for indigenes of NAOC Host/Transit Communities in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Imo States.
  • National Merit Award: Open to students from non-host/transit communities who are studying Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, or Agricultural Sciences.

Ineligible Applicants

  • Students in 200 level and above.
  • Current beneficiaries of similar awards from other companies or agencies.
  • Dependents of NAOC/NAE/AENR/NACPFA employees.

Required Documents

Before you start your application, ensure you have scanned copies of the following documents:

  1. Passport Photograph: Recent photo with a white background, not older than 6 months.
  2. School ID Card
  3. O’Level Certificate
  4. Admission Letter
  5. Birth Certificate
  6. Proof of Local Government Area of Origin
  7. Letter from Community Paramount Ruler: Required only for Host Communities Merit Award applicants.
  8. Letter from CDC Chairman: Required only for Host Communities Merit Award applicants.
  9. JAMB Result

How to Apply

Follow these steps to apply for the NNPC/NAOC/Oando JV Tertiary Scholarship:

  2. Fill in Your Application:
    • Log in with your registered email and password.
    • Enter your personal information, National Identification Number (if available), educational details, and upload the required scanned documents.
    • Ensure that your name matches exactly on all documents. If not, provide a sworn affidavit or certificate to explain any discrepancies.
  3. Document Upload:
    • Upload your passport photograph with a white background.
    • Verify that all uploaded documents are correct and viewable.
  4. Submit Your Application:
    • Review all entered information to ensure accuracy.
    • Click “Apply Now” to submit your application.
    • You will receive a confirmation email and SMS once your application is successfully submitted.
  5. Verification Process:
    • Log in to Scholastica, download your profile, and have your Head of Department sign it.
    • Upload the signed profile for verification.
  6. Obtain a National Identification Number (NIN) if Needed:
    • Visit NIMC’s website to register and complete your NIN application if you don’t already have one.
    • Update your scholarship application with your NIN once obtained.

Additional Notes

  • Multiple applications will result in disqualification.
  • The NIN is not mandatory to complete your application but is recommended.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the aptitude test, and the results will be posted on notice boards at all NNPC/NAOC locations.
