Eligibility Requirements for UCL Institute for Global Health scholarships 2026
Each scholarship has its own focus but all reward genuine need or merit. The Postgraduate Bursaries are open to UK and overseas students who have received an unconditional or conditional offer for any of the full-time, part-time, or modular MSc programmes in Global Health and Development, Health Economics and Decision Science, Applied Infectious Diseases Epidemiology, or Global Mental Health. The African Graduate Scholarship is for African nationals who are permanent residents of an African country at the time of application and who have an unconditional offer for the full-time MSc in Global Health and Development. The GREAT Scholarship is available to citizens of Nigeria or Pakistan. The Office of Health Economics Fellowship is for Home students accepted onto the part-time MSc in Health Economics and Decision Science.
Documents Required
You will need a completed scholarship application form specific to the award you are applying for. Most applicants also require proof of an unconditional or conditional offer for the relevant MSc programme. For the African Graduate Scholarship you must provide evidence that you have secured additional funding for travel to and from the UK. For the Office of Health Economics Fellowship a cover letter or statement of purpose is required after you receive your programme offer.
Scholarship Deadline
Deadlines are firm so mark your calendar now. The Office of Health Economics Fellowship closes on 30 April 2026. The GREAT Scholarship deadline is 7 May 2026.
