Job Title: Tally Accountant
Description:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tally Accountant to manage and maintain accurate financial records for our agro-allied operations.
- The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience with Tally ERP software, strong accounting knowledge, and familiarity with financial processes within the agro-allied or related manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records using Tally ERP.
- Prepare, verify, and post accounting entries related to sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer ledgers regularly.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and budgets.
- Track inventory and ensure proper valuation in coordination with the store and production departments.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Support in statutory compliance such as VAT, WHT, PAYE, and other regulatory filings.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial information and company records.

- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience in the agro-allied, FMCG, or manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 (or newer versions) is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
