Eligibility Requirements for Master Mind Scholarship Belgium 2026
To be considered for the Master Mind Scholarship, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Open to all nationalities, except Russian citizens
- Applicants must not have graduated from or be currently enrolled in a Flemish higher education institution
- Must hold a Bachelor’s or undergraduate degree
- Minimum CGPA of 3.5 out of 4.0
- Must receive an official letter of acceptance from VUB before applying
- Proof of English proficiency is mandatory, with higher requirements than standard university admission:
- TOEFL iBT: minimum score of 94
- IELTS Academic: minimum Band 7.0
- Cambridge English: C1 level with a minimum score of 185

- Completed scholarship application form
- Recent passport-size photograph
- International passport or national ID card
- Official academic transcript
- Certified translation required if not in English, French, or Dutch

- Valid English language test results
- Letter of motivation written in English, addressed to the Flemish Government jury

Only accepted students can be nominated. VUB will nominate up to 20 candidates for final selection by the Flemish Ministry of Education.
