    About NTU Undergraduate Scholarships

    The top undergraduate scholarship offered by Nanyang Technological University (NTU), known as the Nanyang Scholarship, is granted to exceptional freshmen enrolled in undergraduate programs.     Scholarship Benefits

    The Nanyang Scholarship provides coverage for the duration of the normal program, given that the recipient maintains a good academic record and exemplary conduct. The scholarship includes:

    • Full coverage of subsidized tuition fees.
    • A living allowance of S$6,500 for each academic year.
    • An accommodation allowance of up to S$2,000 for each academic year.
    • A travel grant of up to S$5,000 for an overseas program, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the Travel Grant Form.
    • A one-time computer allowance of S$1,750.
    • The Scholarship requires no bond, except for the three year bond which is applicable to all Singapore PRs and international students under the MOE Tuition Grant Scheme.

    Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

    This scholarship is available to:

    • Individuals of all nationalities who plan to pursue a full-time undergraduate degree at NTU. 
    • Candidates must demonstrate exceptional academic achievements through their possession of a Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘A’ level, Diploma awarded by a Singaporean polytechnic, a NUS High School Diploma, an IB Diploma, or qualifications equivalent to Year 12.
    • Moreover, applicants should have an impressive co-curricular record and demonstrate strong leadership abilities and potential.

    Note: The scholarship provided for the Biomedical Sciences and Chinese Medicine Program at NTU will only apply to the first three years of study.

    Scholarship Terms and Conditions

    • The scholarship recipient is not allowed to hold any other scholarships, bursaries, university loans, or awards concurrently without prior approval from the University. 
    • The recipient is also required to maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 out of 5.0, and their academic performance will be evaluated every semester.
    • Additionally, the recipient must take on the role of a student ambassador or a similar position, representing the university for activities such as publicity talks or receiving guests when requested.
    • The University reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship if the recipient’s progress or behavior is deemed unsatisfactory.
    • In the event that the recipient decides to terminate the scholarship before completion, a repayment will be imposed.

    To complete their application, candidates must be prepared to submit the following documents:

    • A digital passport-sized photo

    • A reference letter from a referee
    • A personal essay with a maximum of 300 words

    About 2023 NNPC/SNEPCo Scholarship for Nigerian Students

    Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo), representing itself, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, and its co-venture partners, invites qualified Nigerian students to apply for the 2023 NNPC-SNEPCo National University Scholarship Programme. The programme aims to promote academic excellence and enhance the skills of young Nigerians. Successful applicants will receive yearly grants beginning in their second year and continuing until they complete their undergraduate degree program.

    Scholarship Benefit

    A yearly payment of ₦200,000 from year two (200 level) to your final year of undergraduate studies at the university.

    Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

    To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

    • Hold Nigerian citizenship.
    • Be currently enrolled as a full-time, second-year undergraduate student in a Nigerian University accredited by the NUC.
    • Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in a 5-grade system or its equivalent in other grade systems.
    • Not be a recipient of any other scholarship from an oil and gas industry entity, national or international.

    Required Documents

    As part of the application process, applicants must upload scanned copies of the following documents:

    • Recent passport-sized photograph of the applicant in JPEG format, not exceeding 200 kilobytes.
    • University or JAMB Admission Letter.
    • Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) Result.
    • O’ Level Result(s); and ‘A’ Level, OND, or NCE Result(s), as applicable.
    • A letter of Identification from the State of Origin indicating the applicant’s local government of origin.
    • Academic result at the end of the first year.

    5. Log in using your registered email and password to upload your information.
    6. Provide your personal information, your National Identification Number, educational information, and other relevant details. Upload scanned copies of the required documents.
    7. Ensure that the name used in your application matches the names on all your documents in the same order. If not, upload a sworn affidavit or certificate as proof.
    8. Verify that all uploaded documents are clear and accurate. When asked to upload a photo, use a passport photograph with a white background.
    9. Double-check your application information to avoid errors.
    10. Click “Apply Now” to submit your application.
    11. You will receive an email and SMS confirming that your application was successful.
    12. Return to https://candidate.scholastica.ng/ and log in using your email and password to download your profile. Have your Head of Department sign the document.
    13. Upload a scanned copy of the signed profile for verification purposes.
