Eligibility Requirements for Allan and Nesta Ferguson University of Leeds Scholarships 2026
To be considered, applicants must meet all of the following conditions:
- Be a citizen of and permanently resident in a developing country listed by the International Development Association
- Apply for a full-time, one-year taught Master’s programme in an eligible school at the University of Leeds
- Study an area related to the economic, social, or technological development of their home country
- Hold, or expect to hold by September 2026, an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK Upper Second Class Honours
- Pay tuition fees at the international rate
- Meet the University of Leeds English language requirements by 2 February 2026
- Not have studied for one year or more in a developed country
- Be unable to fund UK study independently or through family support
- Agree to return to their home country after completing the programme
The scholarship must be taken up in September 2026.
