Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the McDonnell International Scholars Academy 2026, applicants must:
- Apply (or have applied) to an eligible master’s or doctoral program at Washington University in St. Louis.
- Hold or expect to earn a bachelor’s degree (or higher) by July 2026.
- Be an international or U.S. student, with preference given to applicants from the McDonnell Academy’s partner universities.
- Submit a separate application for the McDonnell Academy in addition to the WashU graduate program application.
- Note: The fellowship is not available for undergraduate studies.
