The 2025 NNPC-RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship is a merit-based program launched by the Renaissance African Energy Company, in partnership with NNPC, TotalEnergies, and AENR, to support academic excellence among Nigerian undergraduates. Designed to empower bright students and build local capacity, the scholarship offers annual financial assistance throughout the duration of each recipient’s degree. It is open to all eligible Nigerian students, with special consideration for indigenes of the joint venture’s operational areas in Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers States.

Objective

To support academic excellence and skill development in Nigerian undergraduates through annual financial grants.

Eligibility Criteria for for 2025 NNPC-RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship

To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, you;

• Must be a Nigerian citizen.
• Enrolled full-time in a Nigerian university.
• Currently in 200 Level (admitted in the 2023/2024 academic session).
• Not receiving any other oil & gas industry scholarship.

Scholarship Categories

The scholarship is divided into to categories:

1. National Merit Award (NM) – Open to all eligible Nigerians.
2. Areas of Operation Merit Award – For indigenes of Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers States.

Application Timeline

• Application Opens: June 20, 2025
• Application Closes: July 25, 2025
• Selection: Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a proctored computer-based test.

5. 100 Level transcript (2023/2024 academic session)

   • Letter from CDC/CEC Chairperson
