Scholarship Requirements
To be considered for this life-changing opportunity, candidates must:
- Have experienced the loss of one or both parents.
- Hold a valid national secondary school examination result from the past two years (including all of 2022 and 2023), or will receive their final exam results before February 9th, 2024.
- Be born after September 1st, 2001.
- Lack the financial means to pursue international university education independently.
- Possess proficiency in English, French, or Portuguese.
- Rank among the top 10% of their class during the last 2 or 3 years of secondary school.
- Commit to participating in the two transformative Ashinaga preparatory programs before university commencement.
- Demonstrate unwavering dedication to returning home or contributing to Sub-Saharan African society post-graduation.
- Not have dependents that might hinder academic progress.
- Enjoy good health to ensure successful overseas study.
