Scholarship Benefits
The 2025 DAAD scholarship covers the following:
- Full Tuition fees
- Monthly payments of 934 euros for graduates or 1,300 euros for doctoral candidates
- Payments towards health, accident, and personal liability insurance cover
- Travel allowance
- Additional benefits such as rent subsidy and allowance for accompanying family members
Eligibility Criteria
Before diving into the application process, it’s crucial to ensure you meet the eligibility criteria:
- You must be a graduate with at least two years of professional experience.
- You should hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject, completed with outstanding academic performance.
- Your academic degrees should not be more than six years old.
- Residents in Germany for over 15 months by the application deadline are not eligible.

- Completed checklist
- DAAD application form
- Curriculum vitae in reverse chronological order
- Letter of motivation detailing your academic, professional, and personal reasons for applying
- Letter of recommendation from your current employer
- Certificates of employment showing at least two years of relevant work experience
- Proof of language skills (DSH 2 or TestDaF 4 for German courses, IELTS or TOEFL for English courses)
